Let's play devil's advocate for a second…IF you were a bad actor and wanted to quell citizen unrest and or uprising…what procedure would you employ to do so?

Personally I'd keep people so off balance by what the see and hear that they become unable to make rational decisions about what is actually happening right under their noses. I'd keep people busy drawing obvious connections and exposing already known information to keep them busy and only looking where I told them to look. I'd quell dissent by using "trust" I'd hook into personal "fee fees' by addressing and "exposing" every known conspiracy "theory" in the world and promising them that these bad acts are being addressed (AKA big Pharma, CIA, FBI corruption, etc)…except the ONE that is actually habbenin'….My fingers will never point there…I'd use religion as a hook because faithful well intentioned believers will rejoice and automatically trust me…and I do not even have to offer a single shred of proof that what I say is true, I just merely need to quote the scripture and ask the faithful flock to pray.

What risks would I be taking? It's possible that my direction would backfire by "redpilling" too many people, but again this information is available to any who would have bothered to look before.
