i recently had to put down a book he wrote when i started to realize that this was a bout someone who was thinking they needed to be transgender. threw it in the trash.
then i found this book (maybe one of my kids, don't know, didn't even ask) that i realized a third in that these two women friends were realizing they were lesbians. jeez
they don't even give you a true synopsis of the story….they trick you into reading it and then the big reveal aknist a third of the way in
i forgot to include my moral of this story:
read your kids books too.
don't just monitor their tv and movie habits. the propaganda starts super early. also, it's not enough to know what they are watching, you need to watch with them and add commentary, same with books. you must also monitor friends and ask a million questions about them and their families. start young. you can only truly control this stuff for about the first 10 years of their lives. your influence over your child greatly diminishes after that. then you are literally fighting for their attention. if you can in any way pull it off: do not put your kid in daycare. do it yourself. it's worth it for both the parent and the kid. it is an invaluable time that will pay you rewards exponentially in what kind of human being your child becomes
