>Entirely correct, anon. But did you ever understand why people are so spineless to bow to these rules? I never did get that.
Me neither. I never did get the fashion thing. Been an autist from earliest years, never cared much what others thought about my appearance or possessions, never bought into the idea that I had to bow to trends. In fact, always harbored a deep suspicion about trends because it was obvious they were created and managed, and when you think about who creates the trends and why, "They DON'T have your good in mind," to quote a famous person (POTUS). Not one to blend in or stand out although there were times when I needed to stand up in front of 500 people or sit down in a corporate board room and give an hour long presentation, and had to "look the part".
Shucked the role as soon as it was possible and returned to my normal "who cares how I look, all that matters is to be comfy" a long time ago.
