thanks a lot for your awesome work. I am from Germany and just wanted to let you know that the political situation here is more and more becoming like 1933.

Last week, there was a bombing of an AFD office in Döbeln (Saxon). Luckily nobody got injured. Yesterday one (((AFD Politician, Frank Magnitz was brutally attacked))) by 3 masked men and severely injured. He is only alive because a workman saw the attack and prevented worse. If you see the pics of him, it is pure luck he is still alive. They hit his head with a log and kicked it with their boots! This was a clear murder attempt! Still, the other political parties find it hard to condemn the deed. (((Some even claim it is deserved and the ‘evil fascists’ need to be stopped – even by killing them!)))

This is getting extremely worrying and a lot of people are scared that we will head into (((a civil war, caused by murderous leftists.)))

REPLY: Unfortunately, this is exactly what the computer is forecasting. We are in a rising cycle of civil unrest. The political divide is growing everywhere even in the United States. This will ONLY lead to outright violence and in many cases civil war.

Schumer Calls on Trump to Withdraw Bill Barr Nomination One Week Before Confirmation Hearings

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called on President Trump to withdraw Bill Barr’s nomination for Attorney General Wednesday, saying Barr’s previous criticisms of King Mueller disqualifies him to lead the Department of Justice.

The Senate Judiciary Committee set confirmation hearings for President Trump’s AG nominee Bill Barr for January 15th and 16th.

William Barr, former Attorney General who served under George H.W. Bush was nominated by President Trump in December to be the next Attorney General.

If confirmed, Bill Barr will take over the Mueller investigation.

The Democrats are panicking because Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who currently oversees the day-to-day operations of Mueller’s witch hunt is expected to step down from his post in the next few weeks according to FOX News.

Schumer took to the Senate floor and cited a memo Barr wrote to Rosenstein last year criticizing Mueller’s investigation into ‘obstruction of justice’ as “fatally misconceived.”

Mr. Barr wrote in his memo that Mueller should not be allowed to “demand” President Trump be questioned about so-called ‘obstruction of justice.’

“The Senate should subject Mr. Barr’s views to the strictest of scrutiny next week and I still believe, after the revelations about Mr. Barr’s unsolicited memo, President Trump ought to withdraw this nomination,” Schumer said.

Barr heads to Capitol Hill next week to meet with Senators as he prepares for the confirmation hearings scheduled for January 15-16.

It remains to be seen if the Democrats will turn the hearing into a circus like they did with Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing.

Deutsche Bank Prosecutors Seize Massive Client List During 'Panama Papers' Raid

Prosecutors in Frankfurt seized a list of more than 900 Deutsche Bank clients in a tax evasion case known commonly as the "Panama Papers," a set of leaked documents which resulted in a raid at the German bank's headquarters in November, according to Bloomberg.

The list is said to contain names of individuals and entities mostly located outside Germany, while the raid was focused on the role of a former Deutsche Bank wealth management entity located in the British Virgin Islands.

The Panama Papers showed that Deutsche Bank employees may have helped customers set up off-shore companies in tax havens, prosecutors said at the time. Those companies were allegedly involved in tax evasion, they said, adding that 900 clients were allegedly served via the unit. Prosecutors also seized extensive data on paper and electronically, the people familiar with the matter said.

Felix Hufeld, head of Germany's financial supervisor Bafin, said a year ago that German banks investigated in the Panama Papers probe had "largely" complied with existing money-laundering rules.

Vice President Mike Pence last year announced the U.S. military would create a sixth branch, the Space Force, by 2020 as part of a renewed focus on space exploration, as well as to meet concerns about the country's ability to defend assets in space.

Frog calls may help improve telecom technology

The Yomiuri Shimbun

Regularities seen in the calls of frogs can be used to improve radio communications systems, according to the findings of a Japanese scientific team led by Ikkyu Aihara, an assistant professor at the University of Tsukuba.

The findings were published in the British science journal Royal Society Open Science issued Wednesday. The mechanism of the behavior is expected to help avoid so-called packet collisions, a data communication failure in smartphones and other devices, and could eventually contribute to energy savings.

Packet collisions occur when multiple devices simultaneously emit radio waves that interfere with each other, preventing the sending and receiving of data. The reduction of such collisions is key to improving telecommunication technology.

According to the team’s announcement, the scientists recorded and analyzed the sounds of three Japanese tree frogs. They found that a group of frogs delays, or “trolls,” the timing of their calls so as not to interfere with each other, and the group overall regularly switches between calling together and resting together.

Aihara, who specializes in mathematical biology, noticed the state of frogs’ singing can be likened to the transmissions of wireless communication equipment, and re-created the patterns of their trolling in mathematical formulas. The team used a computer to install the formulas into 100 devices and had them correspond with each other in a simulation.

Devices set next to each other began delaying the timing of their transmissions and avoiding packet collisions, just like the frogs’ trolling. Furthermore, the mechanism of calling in chorus, involving the repetition of simultaneous transmissions and rests, was seen among the devices as a whole. The team also found that the mechanism helped reduce power consumption.

“The sudden increase in IoT [internet of things] devices will cause packet collisions and massive power consumption,” said Keio University Prof. Satoshi Kurihara, who specializes in complex network science. “Many of the mechanisms possessed by living creatures are efficient, and can be useful for developing equipment that is inexpensive and has better energy-saving performance.”Speech

On Wednesday, ABC News and CNN reported that Rosenstein told President Donald Trump that he intends to leave the department after attorney general nominee William Barr is confirmed.

Barr's confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee is set to begin Jan. 15, and The Washington Post reported that Rosenstein does not have a definitive timeline for departure.

Rosenstein took charge of overseeing Mueller's Russia probe after former Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the investigation.

Rosenstein also reportedly once discussed secretly monitoring the president without his knowledge, but a source familiar with the situation said that Rosenstein was being sarcastic when he made the purported remarks.

If confirmed, Barr would replace appointed acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker and would assume oversight of the Mueller investigation.

ABC News also reported that there is no indication that Trump is attempting to force out Rosenstein, despite their rocky past. Also, Rosenstein told senators during his 2017 confirmation hearing that he would not remain in his post if he believed that he was being pressured to influence any investigations.
