These contracts are typically let for multiple years, but sometimes the money isn't actually spent which leads to the question of where did the obligated funds actually go? For example, the BearingPoint contract had a potential award amount of $1.1 Billion but 'only' $600M was distributed. Another contract for work in South Sudan (???) with Berger Louis had a total potential of $2.1 Billion but 'only' $400M was spent.

 

The scariest parts of this data are the grants…$12Billion to the world bank. Close to $2 Billion for elections in Nigeria. A billion plus to a new Vaccine Alliance in Switzerland (activate all almonds)…
