> I can think of MANY weapons available to our government that never have been and never will be accessible the average Joe for home use. There's a huge range of weaponry between the AR-15 and the nuke. Just sayin'.
Thanks and Excellent point, but it doesn't make the general relationship between liberty and government any less true where weapons are concerned.
For example, if we expand the word WEAPON to include information, WE ARE CURRENTLY ENGAGED is such an INFORMATION WAR where the corporate state (deep state) has a disproportionate advantage over the people because THEY control the channels of INFORMATION (MSM, google, twitter, facebook, etc.).
While the government does have nuclear weapons and as far as we know haven't used it against the population directly, they have other secret weapons (direct energy, 5G, QRS-11 chip) either online currently or in development (AI, robotics, etc.) that are a threat to the public.
The point is to embed this well established known relationship in the minds of the masses so that they are better informed. We could also consider shorten the quote if that makes people more comfortable.
"The only times liberty has ever appeared in human society is when the population is privately armed with deadly weapon."
