So, what if Cruz only thought he was supposed to bring in the equipment and had no idea he was a Patsy? Suppose the Broward officers who stood down were being ordered to do so by someone watching the tinkered with security cams? What if there was another shooter (part of the plan) and Cruz was supposed to have been tracked via cam, taken out (along with witnesses who could report he wasn’t in tactical gear) and framed with the tactical gear/gun? Instead, the order never comes due to the time issue, Cruz and alibi witnesses waltz right out, and leave the bad guys scrambling to hide the tactical gear from the other police department that swarmed the place? I don’t know how good guys could allow this if it could be avoided but the more Inread about this story, the less sense it makes. As crazy as this sounds, it sounds more realistic than the tales they’re telling.
