Interesting.

The thymus does some pretty special things in children and not adults. The gland keeps growing in children until about the age of puberty/sexual activity. From that point forward it shrinks and seems to stop producing t-cells. Keeps children young and healthy. Children's blood would have special healing youthful properties. Any endocrinologist out there, please help with details. It has been quite a while since I learned this so forgive me if I am a liddle off.
