BOOMS

People have been reporting booms and bangs and loud unexplained noises all over the NE parts of the country. I have heard a few myself and they are quite ominous.

CRYOSEISMS or Frost Quakes. Water freezing beneath the ground and producing these frost quakes - barely a seismic event but very audible to those in the area.
