In 2010, the pro-life organization wrote to the CEO of Senomyx, Jewish Zionist Kent Snyder, indicating the many ethical and moral choices that can and should be used to test their food additives.

However, Senomyx and the companies listed on its website as “partners” decided to ignore the letter. The giants of the food industry as Pepsico, Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup, Solae and Nestle are the main targets of the boycott, although Senomyx account other international partners on their website.

Senomyx’s website says that “the key programs of flavor company focusing on the discovery and development of savory ingredients, candy and other additives intended to reduce the MSG, sugar and salt in food and beverage products (…) “, proclaiming that” (…) using the isolated human taste receptors, we created proprietary test systems based on taste receptors that provide a biochemical or electronic readout when a flavor ingredient interacts with the receptor. ”

Senomyx says its partners will provide funding for research and development, plus on sales of products using their flavor ingredients.

“What is hidden from the public who are using HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce these receptors,” said Debi Vinnedge, Executive Director of Children of God for Life, a pro-life organization and ethics which monitors the use and amount of aborted fetal material in medical and cosmetic products (per year).

“They could use monkey cells (CON) cells, Chinese hamster ovary cells, insect cells or other human taste receptor, morally obtained, expressing the G protein,” said Vinnedge.

After several requests for information Nestlé finally admitted his relationship with Senomyx, indicating that the cell line was “well established in the scientific research”.

After listening to Ms. Vinnedge in April 2012, exposing the reality of the problem, many consumers-angry citizens began to express their condemnation of such immorality through letters to companies. Campbell Soup and PepsiCo responded immediately.

Pepsi was one of the companies with Monsanto contributed money in the campaign against GM labeling.

Surprisingly, Pepsico wrote: “We expect to feel safe knowing that our collaboration with Senomyx is strictly limited to the creation of drinks with lower calorie and great taste for consumers. This cooperation will help us achieve our commitment to reduce sugar by 25% in key brands and the main markets of the next decade, eventually, we help people live healthier lives. “Read the article: – Coca Cola and Pepsi cause cancer

The Campbell Soup corporation was a little concerned about the answer: “Every effort will be made to use the best ingredients and develop the largest selection of products, providing a great value. With this in mind, I must say that it is not worth compromising the trust we have grown and developed over the years with our customers to reduce costs or increase profit margins. ”

Although Campbell said not change their methods, Vinnedge felt hope.

“If enough people express their outrage and their intention to boycott these consumer products, Senomyx it could be forced to change their methods,” he said.

A Minnesota team won't be at the US National Snow Sculpting Championship this week after two of its proposed pieces - including one depicting President Donald Trump - were denied due to political overtones and inappropriateness.

The team - five-time state champs Dusty Thune, Kelly Thune and David Aichinger - had created a snow sculpture of Trump at last year's event in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, that showed Trump's hair and neck as a twisted pile of feces featuring his tweets.

It was called 'Peep' and meant to evoke the president's vulgar comments about African countries.

The state champ team under the name House of Thune decided to stick with the theme that worked for them the previous year and submitted a proposal called 'Statue of Tyranny', which depicted Trump as the Statue of Liberty with a child in a cage beneath him.

Albert Andre Zimmerman, 41, formerly of Tallahassee and Lakeland, faces a maximum prison sentence of 30 years, according to a plea agreement presented in federal court in Tampa at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Steve Cole, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tampa, said Zimmerman will be sentenced within the next three months.

“He remains in custody until his sentencing, which should be in the next 60 to 90 days,” Cole said, adding the minimum sentence is 15 years behind bars.

Cole said officials will conduct a pre-sentencing investigation, which will look to see if he has a prior criminal record. At the sentencing hearing a judge will determine a sentence.

Zimmerman was arrested in February 2008 after authorities say he became friendly with six underage males. One was under the care of the Department of Children and Families, Cole said.

Cole’s press release states that Zimmerman persuaded minors “to engage in sexually explicit conduct and then send him pictures of the conduct via email.“

At times, Zimmerman even instructed the minors on how to pose for the photos, according the case file. Zimmerman reportedly paid some of the minors for their pictures.

The case was investigated as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative created in 2006 that’s aimed at combatting the sexual exploitation of children.

Zimmerman, who was immediately fired as a DCF spokesman in connection with the Hillsborough County cases, was original charged with eight counts of using a child in a sexual performance.

Those eight counts would have carried a sentence of 120 years in prison if Zimmerman were convicted.

A proposed statewide ban on risky dwarf events - including dwarf tossing and potentially also wrestling - drew support at a public hearing Thursday, along with questions about its scope.

At least five people with dwarfism showed up to the hearing, with several telling the committee that "dwarf tossing" events — sometimes held as promotions at bars and strip clubs — contribute to a culture of mockery and bullying directed toward those with the condition.

The ban, proposed by Spokane Valley Republican Mike Padden in Senate Bill 5486, would prohibit any physically hazardous activity involving a person with dwarfism in an adult venue or bar.

Deana Harris, president of the Seattle chapter of Little People of America, said the events advance a perception of dwarfism as a condition that's acceptable to mock.

"Gay tossing, Muslim tossing, black tossing, Jew tossing," Harris said. "If any of those were the topic of today's discussion, the outcry would be deafening."

Dwarf tossing events in particular, Harris and others said, also objectify people affected by dwarfism, and give people the idea that people suffering from dwarfism are objects or toys, creating a danger that audience members might later try to recreate the stunts.

Bridgette Graham, a Seattle woman who participates in sporting events through the Dwarf Athletic Association of America, said after the hearing that events held at bars are fundamentally different from those held in ordinary sporting venues.

Alex Foos, who also travelled from Seattle for the event, agreed, noting that most wrestling events in bars use the word "midget," which many people affected by dwarfism consider a slur.

Speaking at the hearing, Padden said he could sympathize with concerns about the limits the bill might place on professional entertainers, but also was concerned about an activity that seemed to target one specific group based on their physical characteristics.

"I do have kind of a conservative libertarian streak in me," Padden said. But, he added, "to me it comes down to basic common decency."

In July there was even video proof that President Trump’s Twitter page is being censored.

Gateway Pundit contributor Cristina Laila received a notice in 2018 that her tweet violated Pakistani law.

Putin quits missile treaty with US in ‘quid pro quo’ with Trump

Russia is abandoning a key missile treaty the day after the United States said it was suspending participation, renewing concerns about a nuclear arms race between the two countries.

“We will respond quid pro quo,” President Vladimir Putin said Saturday, according to the Associated Press. “Our American partners have announced they were suspending their participation in the treaty and [we] will do the same."

“They have announced they will conduct research and development, and we will act accordingly,” he continued.

Putin said Russia would begin to work on intermediate-range weapons. He pledged Russia would “not station” any of these weapons “in Europe or other regions until similar U.S. weapons appear in those regions,” AP reported.

U.S. officials have indicated they will move ahead with "fielding systems that will continue to protect Americans abroad and Americans at home."

The Trump administration said Friday it would withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, alleging Russia has been violating its treaty obligations for years. The treaty banned “nuclear and conventional ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges of 500 to 5,500 kilometers,” according to the Arms Control Association.

The U.S. said it would reconsider its participation if Russia eliminating its new 9M729 cruise missile system. The EU countries and other allies that make up the North Atlantic Treaty Organization backed the U.S. in a statement released Friday, saying Russia “will bear sole responsibility for the end of the Treaty” if it did not destroy the new system.

China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs opposed the U.S. withdrawal action in a statement Saturday, urging the two countries to “handle their differences properly through constructive dialogue,” Reuters reported.

Goldman Sachs Group’s board is taking steps to slash its top executives’ 2018 compensation, depending on the outcome of investigations into the investment bank’s role in the ransacking of a multibillion-dollar Malaysian state investment fund.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission late Friday, Goldman said the board can reduce the size of 2018 stock-based awards granted to its senior executives if it determines that the results of the investigation into the Malaysian fund scandal would have prompted Goldman’s compensation committee to reduce its top executives’ stock awards.

Oil and Gas Investor.com released their numbers a week ago and oil is king in the US –

The U.S. is on track to produce more crude oil and liquids than Russia and Saudi Arabia put together by 2025, consultancy firm Rystad Energy said Jan. 24.

U.S. liquids output is expected to surpass 24 million barrels per day (bbl/d) over the next six years, Rystad said, assuming average U.S. crude prices of $58 a barrel during the period.

The growth in U.S. liquids production will be driven by major shale basins such as the Permian Basin in parts of Texas and New Mexico, the report said.

The far left media will not report this success but it means more than just being number one. By drilling more oil in the US, the US economy benefits and billions of dollars remain in the US rather than going to terrorist regimes around the world. That's on the taxing entities to figure out how to tax online purchases. Illinois was self-reporting for a long time for use tax. On Groundhog Day 2019, Punxsutawney Phil could not find his shadow. And as the legend goes, this means we're in for an early spring.

The Pennsylvania groundhog isn't the only weather-predicting rodent in this quirky American tradition, but he is the most famous. And according to the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club, his opinion is the only one that matters.

This is only the 19th time out of 123 in his recorded history (there are 10 years where no record remains) that Phil hasn't been able to find his shadow.

Even so, Phil is usually wrong, and meteorologists aren't too sure Phil's suspicions are right either.

It's hard to imagine that spring is right around the corner after the polar vortex this past week, but we'll just have to wait and see.

At least one other prognosticating groundhog disagreed with Phil on Saturday: New Jersey's Milltown Mel predicted a longer winter after reportedly seeing his shadow. Mel has been giving predictions for the past 10 years.
