There is a big difference between using an EO to build a wall for NS reasons, and using it to over ride the constitution. The EO to build the wall does not overrule or go against anything in the constitution and instead, uses it as the backing to protect the country from foreign invasion using the presidents legally given authority.
If a follow on president tried to issue a EO to take away a constitutionally given right, that is an entirely different set of legal circumstances.
