They are working fast on the "CRISPR" project for a reason, and I think it may be a way for them to replace their dwindling supplies.

After all, why would you name a project that deals with gene-editing test-tube babies, "CRISPR"? Crispy enough that it's an MRE when finished, (matured into a baby, with all the right nutrients and so forth)โ€ฆfrozen dinner kinda thing.

Take the time to read through some of that and you'll start seeing the picture.

But for the blood, you can't get younger blood than that from a just born infant.

They drink it in hopes of staying young for a longer period of time.
