I believe her necklace is a serpent or dragon made of coral. Fine red coral. It has to be of some value bc of the way the piece is mounted.
Chinese. Fire dragon? Symbol of authority.
Looks all red, white, and blue, but not.
Also, she's wearing a very gemmy pearl on that broach.
