The Governor of Washington introduces Bill that calls for in-home supervision of all new parents and their babies titled "The Washington Baby Act of 2019".

Similar to the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) which is a Program of the ACA implemented in 2010 by the Obama administration. This program was for "at-risk" families initially and has been expanded to include all families with newborns.The Bill introduced in Washington State could be made mandatory for all new families with ease.
