Touched a nerve with a previous post about Allison Mack, and the NXIVM connection with Mexico drug/human trafficking and major political figures there. Trolls came out in numbers for one little post. They don't realize how useful they are to Anons. Kek.
Here's a little dig on the new members of the NVIXM legal team and connections to Mexico. The question seems likely answered that Mexican organized crime is paying legal fees for the cult now that Bronfman's support is drying up. Love you clowns – you're a big help to us!
Note that NVXIM has been accused by former members of being a recruiting platform for a cult operating within it (variously called "DOS" or "The Vow") in which women were branded and forced into sexual slavery.
It appears that Mexican human/drug trafficking is CENTRAL to the case. Can you say "Build That Wall?"

Agnifilo told the court he plans to call numerous Mexican witnesses. This seems to be the heart of his defense – Mexico.
He and Raniere prefer that the Mexican witnesses appear in court and provide live testimony, he said. However, these “witnesses have reason to fear that the Government may arrest or detain them if they travel to the United States to testify,” he wrote.

Her two new lawyers are:
Matthew I. Menchel of Kobre & Kim LLP, Menchel practices in Miami, Florida. He is admitted to practice in Federal Court in New York State.
Mack’s other new lawyer is Gabriela M. Ruiz, also of Kobre and Kim, and also practices in Miami.
Ruiz is not admitted to practice in New York State and made a motion for an Order for admission to practice Pro Hac Vice.
Ruiz serves clients throughout Mexico and Latin America in investigations arising from allegations of fraud, bribery, accounting irregularities, and violations of securities laws.
And here is more sauce on the Mexico connection:

Emiliano Salinas, the son of former Mexican President Carlos Salinas, reportedly led NXIVM’s Mexico branch. According to Executive Success Programs’ website, Salinas was a member of ESP’s Executive Board since 2009 and co-owned ESP centers in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Los Angeles.
From what I heard from high-ranking defectors, the supposed plan was to get Emi Salinas into office in Mexico’s next Presidential election in the summer of 2018 so that a top-ranking Nxivm devotee would have power on the world’s political stage. His father, Carlos, would use his Machiavellian methods to ensure his son’s election win, and then Keith would use Emi Salinas as his puppet and rule Mexico.”
He [Raniere] had already apparently sent out members of his harem to seduce various members of law enforcement and public officials so that he could compromise them.
Before he could be arrested in the US, Raniere fled to Mexico. He was deported instead of extradited, which would have been the proper protocol. “There was a worry that the Salinas family would step in and use their government ties to block extradition if they caught wind of it.”
