B-52s have been upgraded with more current avionics while still maintaining some of the older versions as well for backup. They can carry more munitions than any other aircraft. This would include some munitions from the other Services that even they can't carry on an airborne platform anymore. It's a versatile aircraft for sure. They have discussed different variants over the years to include electronic warfare and a gunship version. But it does it's mission so well that they just left it alone. If you have a more specific question about what it could carry, maybe that can be addressed more directly. But that's really all I can say at this point.

I seriously doubt that would ever even be considered a possibility. They'd have to deploy through the bomb bays. I'm not saying someone couldn't egress that way, but the larger question would be 'Why?'

We have many other much more capable platforms that can do that safely and have been used for decades for just that purpose. The B-52s you see flying over the US via ADSB Exchange, etc., are on training missions. Aircrew must maintain their readiness on the weapon system. So that means everything from flying the aircraft to employing tactics and weapons release (simulated or real). I wouldn't read much into a B-52 that's flying over the US.

Have anons picked up on what this might really mean? Initiation? Leads to leverage? Leads to her being controlled? Turns into her message changing?
