Because the north star is directly above the axis of the earth, aka "north pole".

They do move, at the speed the earth rotates.

which is very slow respectively.

The surface is moving very fast subjectively, but the earth only does 1 rotation per day.

Like another anon said, the atmosphere is literally stuck to the surface and moves with earth, so we do not notice the speed.

Kind of like when you are in a car going fast, or an airplane, everything around you inside the vehicle is also moving fast. Throw a ball in the air, and it does not go at the speed of the car away from the car. It goes the speed of the car with the car.

Can confirm parts of this.

3D printers are cheap anymore.

I have built a few myself from scratch.

Would not want to build gun out of 3D printed parts from home FDM printer.

Would use sintered metal laser printer instead.

or Lost PLA casting method.

Steel is hard to cast without proper equipment, and would need to be machined after anyway.

That's the expensive part.

3D printed parts can be strong, but not bullet strong.
