The video was cut short before the guy said he was joking? So either Q is dishonest or got OUTPLAYED.
You are right. He could be playing the 'just a joke' card. It is ammo for the opposition, though.
Also, you don't need to trust him. It could have been a trap set by releasing a shorter video on purpose first. The questioner could have been in on the lot.
