One of the more overlooked possible reasons that the USA sanctioned Venezuela's largest state owned oil company (Petroleos de Venezuela, better known as PDVSA) is that Venezuela was nominated as this year's OPEC president. Manuel Quevedo is the president of PDVSA and is also this year's OPEC president. We now have leverage over OPEC, which is needed for a smooth transition away from the petrodollar/fiat system and the return to honest money.
It's not like Venezuela just entered a crisis, they have been crashing and robbing the people for years, as Maduro sold Cuba oil and Cuba provided an army for protection. We first had to wait for Manuel Quevedo to assume the position as president, which happened early this year.
It's all about energy (oil) and money (precious metal) and the deepstate has been using Venezuela as a stronghold. Venezuela was the gem of South America and has massive oil and metal reserves. These have been socialized on behalf of the clowns. Their gold is also targeted, as seen by the Bank of England not returning their stored gold. Several planes showed up soon after the sanction and seemed to be helping launder their gold, or retrieve their investment before the scene starts changing.
Not only will supporting President Guaido help the people of Venezuela to stop being financially raped by the President, it will give the good guys further leverage over the president of OPEC. Hopefully the possibly new incoming president will spend the countries resources in a way that is best for the people.
