In the Iraqi context, "death blossom" is used as a negative term - reckless, indiscriminate, not aimed at the enemy/danger, creating collateral damage.
But more generally "death blossom" means taking out everything, a single firing round that flattens an environment. Very effective super-weapon. This can be a positive quality in a target-rich environment such as the swamp. (Sound like a tactical nuke?)
I wonder in which sense Q uses the term?
