R. Kelly breaks his silence on sexual abuse claims: "I have been assassinated

In an explosive interview, R. Kelly is breaking his silence about the sexual abuse charges that landed him in jail last month. The embattled R&B singer spoke with "CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King for nearly 80 minutes Tuesday. He said all the women now accusing him of physical and sexual abuse are lying.

"I am surprised that you agreed to do it. Why are you sitting down with us today?" King asked the singer.

"I'm very tired of all of the lies. I've been hearing things, and you know, and seeing things on the blogs, and you know, you know, I'm just tired," Kelly said.

"What are the lies that you're hearing that disturb you most?" King asked.

"Oh my God. Um – all of them, got little girls trapped in the basement… helicopters over my house trying to rescue someone that doesn't need rescuing because they're not in my house," he said, adding, "Handcuffing people, starving people. I have a harem, what you call it – a cult. I don't even really know what a cult is. But I know I don't have one."

Chicago prosecutors have charged Kelly with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Three of the four alleged victims were underage when the suspected crimes happened. Kelly has pleaded not guilty. But sources tell CBS News federal and state authorities in at least two states, New York and Illinois, are now investigating a variety of allegations.

The last check made public was signed on Dec. 5, the same day that Mr. Trump called Mr. Netanyahu, Mr. Abbas and Arab leaders to tell them that he had decided to move the American Embassy to Jerusalem.

Let me say up front that I support POTUS 1000%, and this does NOT & will NOT change that one bit. I want our freedom back. I want this evil removed. I'd pay money to help the cause, and it appears I am!!

But we are pretty demoralized because his promised tax break was NOT a break at all for this middle class family. Worse, I fear that as others realize the break isn't a break, the media will have just another thing to use to brutalize him.

When I read about the new cap on the state & local tax (SALT) deduction, I got spooked, and rightly so. Those of you with no state taxes are very lucky.

Our unpleasant experience:

Because of the changes, and without changing our withholding at all, the total amount of Fed tax withheld for the year was about 17% less than the prior year which was nice until we did te taxes. It did mean more money in our checks, but now we owe more than two times the difference plus a penalty.

Only 57% of deductions we were allowed to use the prior year were allowable this year because of the loss of the Personal Exemptions combined with the new cap on the state & local tax (SALT) deductions. That's not small for those with state tax and a home, and it was all deductable before.

We owe almost two months' salary and were not prepared for this, and we owe a penalty through no fault of our own. For a married couple with a dependent, our withholding was proper and should have been adequate. Withholding at married & zero for both parents for all of 2019 would not fix this or even prevent a penalty for the next year.

We're scrambling to figure out how to pay for this and how to rescue the next year. This equates to a significant salary cut for us if it is the new norm. I'm not asking for sympathy. Just want POTUS and anons to realize this is broken…

Amazon Bans Tommy Robinson’s Book, ‘Mohammed’s Koran’

On January 7 of this year, I published an article at PJ Media about Amazon removing doormats featuring Qur’an verses from sale because the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) found them offensive. In that article, I asked:

How long will it be before Hamas-linked CAIR starts demanding that books that criticize jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women, gays, and others also be dropped by Amazon?

The answer turned out to be 51 days.

It’s the British government and the BBC, rather than CAIR, that are likely behind this, but Amazon has just dropped the book Mohammed’s Koran by the renowned British activist Tommy Robinson and Peter McLoughlin – and apparently only because its censors dislike Robinson. In the last two weeks, Robinson spectacularly embarrassed the BBC by exposing the bias and dishonesty of its reporter John Sweeney. The retaliation has been swift and severe: Robinson has been banned from YouTube and Facebook, and now his book has been withdrawn from sale.

It is important to not let too much time pass where people can start thinking for themselves. It must be constantly reinforced. Muslim Student Group Graduates to Outright Terror Recruitment

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) is comprised of hundreds of chapters at universities and colleges across the U.S. and Canada. Founded in 1963, with its roots in the land grant universities of the American Midwest, it now boasts chapters in every state in the country and is unquestionably the largest Muslim student group in American higher education.

The MSA, however, has repeatedly come under scrutiny by law enforcement and the media following 9/11. But political pressure has been placed on these same law enforcement agencies to stop looking at MSA chapters as "radicalization incubators."

Now, in at least one current court proceeding, former MSA leaders stand accused of using their campus group to recruit fighters for ISIS.

Another MSA chapter president was recently indicted for sending money to al-Qaeda in Syria. And yet another MSA chapter has seen two of its past presidents recently convicted of terrorism support. That same chapter later openly raised money for the terrorist group Hamas.

In August 2010, I published an article here at PJ Media including a lengthy list of MSA leaders who have been charged in cases related to Islamic terrorism. The list included al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who previously served as president of the MSA chapter at Colorado State University. He was killed in a September 2011 CIA drone strike in Yemen.

Tesla Disclosure Bombshell: Company Answered Model 3 Margin Question In Private After Hiding It From The Public

By now it is well known that Tesla held a secretive conference call after announcing the reveal of it’s $35,000 Model 3 (see also: The Secret Tesla Conference Call to Which You Were Not Invited here). The call, which Musk only invited a handful of reporters to attend, eventually leaked into the public domain and had to be transcribed by Carl Marks Advisors VP, Paul Huettner.

The idea of the company having a secret conference call, during which it appeared to release a material amount of nonpublic information, while at the same time being under the watchful eye of the SEC, was shocking even to some Tesla supporters. Longtime Tesla bulls, like HyperChange TV's Galileo Russell, took exception to not being included in the latest slate of Tesla disclosures.

After tweeting at Elon Musk yesterday, Musk admitted to Russell that not providing a transcript of the call and not opening up it up to the public was "a mistake". Musk ultimately appeared to place the blame on the Tesla communications team, or at least those members of the communication team that he hasn't fired yet.

But now it looks as though the situation may be worse than originally anticipated. In following up on the situation, a report out yesterday by the Los Angeles Times actually stated that Tesla conducted yet another round of disclosures after its original secret conference call, but this time, only with Deutsche Bank.

"An analyst at Deutsche Bank said Tesla had shared information with him about Model 3 profit margins, even though Musk refused to answer a question about margins on the media conference call," the report says. If true, this would be especially egregious breach of Reg FD because one of the questions that Elon Musk ducked on the first secretive conference call was a question about the vehicle's margin. According to a transcript provided by Huettner, when asked about the Model 3's margin by Forbes, Elon Musk said he wasn't "going to answer questions like that".

But why would Deutsche Bank be entitled to answers when even the super secret media group wasn’t? Well, perhaps in addition to probing Deutsche Bank's loans to Donald Trump, Congress should also look into the German bank's financial ties to Musk next:

If the bank was indeed granted this nonpublic information, it would amount to a second jarring violation of Regulation FD and much more than the "mistake" Elon Musk has made it out to be. Further, it’s difficult to believe that the original call was a mistake on its own, when Tesla IR stated in its introduction of the call: "This is all on the record. But, please do not publish the recording or transcripts of this call."

Too late for that.

This selective doling out of material nonpublic information, including updated financial guidance, should not only be taken as demeaning and insulting to the company's investors, but is also a slap across the face by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Musk has until March 11 to respond to the commission's request to hold him in contempt of court for violating his settlement agreement. We will be keeping our eyes on that docket.

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is reporting that the transgender cake case against Christian baker Jack Phillips is being dropped.

ADF says it was nothing more than anti-religious "harassment" that came even though Phillips had just won his previous case at the US Supreme Court.

Members of the Colorado Civil Rights Commission (CCRC) who had come after Phillips have now been exposed by what ADF called "overwhelming evidence" of clear hostility toward religious freedom.
