House Passes Anti-Hate Resolution Sparked by Ilhan Omar’s Antisemitism
407-23 vote was a bid to end dissension among Democrats over freshman congresswoman Omar’s latest remarks on Israel. House Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney (R-WY), joined Reps. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), Louie Gohmert (R-TX) and nearly two dozen other Republicans in voting against the measure because it did not go far enough in condemning Omar. Last week, the Minnesota Democrat claimed the Jewish state’s allies pressure lawmakers to pledge “allegiance” to a foreign country. Some members of Congress wanted Omar implicitly rebuked with a measure condemning anti-Semitism. However, other lawmakers said the resolution should also condemn discrimination against Muslims and other minorities.
Earlier Thursday, House Democrats briefly postponed voting on the measure as lawmakers sought to add text by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to include anti-Latino hate, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) said.

Nadler (D-NY) has hired a campaign consultant who also lobbies on behalf of the head of a Russia propaganda outlet, even as he launches an extensive investigation into President Trump’s alleged Russia ties, according to a report.
The Daily Beast on Thursday reported that Nadler’s campaign consultant is Ezra Friedlander, a lobbyist and political consultant who runs outreach to the Orthodox Jewish community for Nadler’s campaign.
However, he is also a public-relations executive whose newest client is the wife of Kirill Vyshinsky, the head of Russian state news media outlet RIA Novosti’s Ukrainian arm

Chaouki Bekrar, CEO of exploit vendor Zerodium, stated that the vulnerability allowed malicious code to get past Chrome’s security sandbox allowing hackers to run commands on the users operating system.
All Chrome users have been advised to use the browser’s built-in update tool to update Chrome to the latest update in order to avoid future issues with the bug.
