Could be wrong, but I was thinking about the press conference an hour ago, and I think it's possible that the first nail was hammered into the coffin of the D party.
Regardless of whether or not the D party is in the coffin yet or this is indeed a nail or not, what happened today was the Democrat party was wholly labeled as the party that hates The Jews.
The media even asked the question, something to the effect of, "Is the President claiming the Democrats hate Jews?" or even something to the effect of asking her if "the democrat party hates Jews."
The ball is squarely in the D party court to defend themselves from an accusation which came about "organically" from the noise that came from their own party.
Label Republicans deplorable and that they hate Jews, without there being a spokesperson to actually make such a claim for the entire group, and it fades away, lingers as a conspiracy theory.
Gently label the D party as Jew haters when one of their own mouth pieces expressly declares something negative directed at Jews, and the D party is now the Jew hating party.
