Heineken and Amstel are the same beer, made by Amstel brewing. Heineken is primarily for export, so formaldehyde is added as a preservative, that is what the red star on the bottle means and the source of the famous "Heine Headache" In Egypt they have the stuff called Stela, 6% formaldehyde but still good idea to hold bottle up to the Sun to see how much mold is growing in it.
