Pieczenik held many roles within US politics, including serving as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under Henry Kissinger, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Regan, and George H.W. Bush. He also worked for numerous agencies, including the CIA.

Collective Evolution reports: In one of Steve’s latest videos, he implicates one of his former employers, George H.W. Bush, who he served in the capacity of Deputy Assistant Secretary.

When talking about the subject, he states,

“It has been rampant in our government, if you remember Bush Sr. had a whole group of young Hispanic men who he groomed and played with. At the same time, Hillary and Bill Clinton along with their friend Mr. Epstein went down to the Bahamas and they were molesting and utilizing young girls and boys to have sexual pleasures, but nothing was done about the fact that Jeffrey Epstein had been guilty and convicted of that crime.”

The latest news regarding Epstein is that federal judge Kenneth A. Marra declared that a 2008 plea deal made by federal prosecutor Alexander Acosta in the sexual assault case of Jeffery Epstein was against the law.

Epstein is close with not only the Clinton’s, but the royal family as well as other people in high places of power. As far back as 2007, he was accused of assembling a large, cult-like network of underage girls — with the help of young female recruiters — to coerce into having sexual acts behind the walls of his opulent waterfront mansion in Florida as often as three times a day, according to Palm Beach police.

In the video below, Pieczenik goes into how this issue is rampant in Florida after the recent news that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution with a Florida spa tied to an international human trafficking ring.

A wealthy media exec from La Jolla, Calif., falsely claimed her teenage son was a top athlete to get him into USC — and even submitted doctored photos to make him look like a champ, investigators said.

Elisabeth Meyer Kimmel, 54, allegedly claimed son Thomas was an “elite high-school pole vaulter.”

In the doctored image seen here, Thomas’ face was digitally pasted on that of a vaulter clearing a bar at 14 feet.

However, Kimmel’s son never actually participated in track and field during his time at a private La Jolla prep school, probers said.

The son’s application to USC falsely claimed he was a three-year varsity letterman in track and was “one of the top pole vaulters in the state of California.”

Meanwhile, the family’s charitable foundation made a $50,000 payment to the USC Women’s Athletics Board, records show.

Another payment, of $200,000, was made to a group controlled by William “Rick” Singer, the man behind the sprawling scheme to get kids into elite schools by faking athletic credentials and/or test scores.

Kimmel has been the owner and president of Midwest Television Inc. since 2007.

Alleged victims of sexual and physical abuse in Southern Baptist Convention churches told The Daily Caller News Foundation that the ministers to whom they reported their abuse often tried to cover up their allegations, either by handling the matter internally, silencing or shaming the victims, or simply doing nothing.

Both men and women who allegedly experienced abuse in the SBC claimed that their ministers acted more to protect their churches and shield them from public controversy, sometimes failing to comply with mandatory reporting laws in the effort.

While SBC churches vary wildly in structure, style, and to a degree, theological focus due to an emphasis on church autonomy, similarities between abuse victims’ testimonies from different churches point to potential cultural and structural problems that enable abuse in churches throughout the denomination.

The Southern Baptist Convention is the second-largest Christian denomination in the U.S., with over 47,000 churches each year sending millions of meals to disaster zones, thousands of missionaries and trained volunteers around the country and world. Despite all the good the SBC spreads globally, however, a darkness has tainted the church.

Victims who said they suffered abuse in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) say church leaders often responded with silence, shame and cover-up, compounding and enabling further abuse.

An investigative report from the Houston Chronicle and the San Antonio Express-News revealed 380 SBC ministers and volunteers have faced credible accusations from more than 700 victims over the past 20 years.

The revelation of the scale of alleged abuse within SBC churches forced the leaders of the convention to grapple with the broken policies, beliefs and negligence that enabled the crisis, but some victims say worse than initial physical and sexual abuse they suffered were the ineffective and, at times, callous responses from their church leaders when they first told their local ministers of their plight.

While churches in the SBC vary wildly in local church structure, policy and theological focus, due largely to the denomination’s belief in local church autonomy, victims who spoke with The Daily Caller News Foundation recounted SBC abuse cases from various parts of the country that stretched over decades and bore striking similarities with one another concerning their church leaders’ responses to their allegations.

MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Former Vatican treasurer Cardinal George Pell was sentenced to six years in jail on Wednesday by an Australian court for sexually abusing two choir boys in Melbourne in the 1990s, and will be registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

County Court of Victoria Chief Judge Peter Kidd said there was a real possibility that at age 77, Pell could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Pell, a former top adviser to Pope Francis, is the most senior Catholic to be convicted for child sex offences.

His downfall brings to the heart of the papal administration a scandal over clerical abuse that has ravaged the Church’s credibility in the United States, Chile, Australia and elsewhere over the last three decades.

“In my view, your conduct was permeated by staggering arrogance,” said Kidd in handing down the sentence after Pell was convicted of five charges of sexually abusing two children.

“Viewed overall, I consider your moral culpability across both episodes to be high,” he told the packed court room.

Pell, who showed no emotion during the sentencing hearing that ran for more than one hour, has maintained his innocence and has filed an appeal that is scheduled to be heard in June.

The offences against two 13-year-old boys took place after Sunday mass in late 1996 and early 1997 in a room and a corridor at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne, where Pell was archbishop.

One of the victims died in 2014. The other victim, who testified and was cross-examined at the trial, issued a statement through his solicitor saying he found it hard to take comfort in the verdict for now.

“Being a witness in a criminal case has not been easy. I am doing my best to hold myself and my family together,” said the victim, who cannot be identified under Australian law protecting sex abuse victims.

During the trial the victim described how Pell had exposed himself to them, fondled their genitals and masturbated and forced one boy to perform an oral sex act on him.

Pell was found guilty by a jury on four charges of indecent acts and one of sexual penetration. He faced a maximum of 10 years in jail for each charge.

“Cardinal Pell, I find beyond reasonable doubt that, on the specific facts of your case, there was a clear relationship of trust with the victims, and you breached that trust and abused your position to facilitate this offending,” Kidd said.

Kidd said as archbishop Pell would have “cast a powerful shadow” and thought he could control the situation if caught. He also probably believed his victims would not complain.

During his trial, Pell’s own lawyer described the burly 1.9 meters (6 foot and 3 inches) tall cardinal as the “Darth Vader” of the Catholic Church.

Kidd said that as Pell had maintained his innocence, which was his right, he had not shown remorse or contrition for his actions and that his sentence reflected that.

One thing that would help us figure out what's going on is if Trump—and Manafort—released their tax returns. They of course haven't done so. Indeed, it's striking that neither seems even to have put his current business interests in any kind of blind trust. So we don't know how direct and close a financial relationship Trump and Manafort have with the Putin regime.

Woodson’s testimony of abuse led to the 2018 resignation of then-pastor Andy Savage from Highpoint Church in Memphis. She said church leaders at Woodlands Parkway Baptist Church initially ordered her to remain silent about Savage’s alleged molestation of her.

Choirboy welcomes sentence, says Pell's appeal still hangs over him

The man who as a young choirboy was sexually abused by George Pell in Melbourne's St Patrick's Cathedral says he finds it hard to take any comfort from the cardinal's six-year jail sentence.

As the former archbishop was driven away from court in handcuffs, the victim, referred to in Chief Judge Peter Kidd's sentencing remarks as "J", said Pell's appeal against his conviction, due to be heard in June, is hanging over his head.

"Everything is overshadowed by the forthcoming appeal," J said on Wednesday.

And the father of Pell's other victim, who died in 2014 and was dubbed "R" in Judge Kidd's remarks, said the sentence –

six years with a non-parole period of three years and eight months – was "inadequate".

Speaking outside the County Court on Wednesday, Shine Lawyers' Lisa Flynn said R's father was "disappointed with the short sentencing and has expressed sadness over what he believes is an inadequate [punishment]".

"He watched his son's life disintegrate after the abuse," Ms Flynn said.

"He does feel that in this case at least there was a conviction, there is a jail sentence. But he would have preferred it to have been a longer sentence given what his son and his family have been through.

Users in Australia, the US, Europe and Asia report problems as Google says applications are experiencing ‘issues’

Google was experiencing global outages on Wednesday, with users reporting issues with Gmail, Google Drive and Google Maps.

Various websites that track Gmail problems and outages, showed a spike in users reporting problems with the email service from about 1pm AEDT (2am GMT).

In a statement on their service website, Google said: “We’re investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly. The affected users are able to access Gmail, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behaviour.”

Those affected were unable to send emails, receiving an error message that said “Message could not be sent. Check your network and try again”. Others experienced problems opening attachments.

Several hours after the issues were first reported Google confirmed that “customers will have issues accessing or attaching files in various products”, including “attaching or accessing attachments” to emails, “as well as accessing and saving draft emails and sending emails.” Google also confirmed there were issues with uploading and downloading files from Google Drive and uploading photos or attachments to Hangouts.

Google Maps also appeared to be experiencing issues, with users who tried to use Street View mode seeing a black screen, instead of images of the location. This issue was not confirmed by Google on its G Suite dashboard.

Google has not confirmed the cause of the outages or how long they would last.

The issues affected users around the globe, with people in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America reporting problems.

Some people in Australia reported that the outages were a good excuse for not working through the afternoon.
