oh that's interesting and fits the bill since he was exactly as you say and rolling at Rand. I had been hoping someone here would dispell me of notions that he was all good. as he seemed imo to be probably the last person to run world bank that acted like he believed in its mission, couldn't find a thing to contrary on that. I also believe personally in reality checking my notions of heros and role models. Hard knocks of let down after picking Kissinger at one point while in grad school, and Bowie in teenage years. so yeah knowing rands history and strange's work as statfag makes sense he would have advocated for monolithic and consolidated

but you switched from lightning to raptor. one is moneypit of the future for multiple branches and multiple countries as well. not really much over the raptor except its use of newer tech, and variants. I mean is the navy REALLY confident about single engine fighters coming and going from a moving object? the raptor on the other hand, well that's an example of so good or on the mark that deep state flickers shut it down just as production got started. I fear its gonna be a story like the tomcat dying out slowly with cannibalized parts at the end
