"Full control" would mean this should've been over. Why allow innocent people to be killed and the country to continue to spiral downward with drugs and illegal immigration crime if they had "full control"?

There must be a counter-psyop that gives the DS hope that they have a chance otherwise the Democrats would NOT be so aggressive. If it were clear that they stood no chance to succeed, they would've reversed course, but they are full-balls, full-retard, full-steam ahead with their agendas - fast-tracking electoral college elimination, gun control, climate fixes, government funded healthcare…et al.
