Fast forward to mid 2000s millennials graduating HS as the housing market collapses and their parents go broke from the second mortgage and you listened studied and got into college but now you have to borrow a bunch of money to go since your parents are now in trouble. So you do thinking it’s worth it. You watch the bankers that blew up two bubbles get bailed out while you borrow more money. Graduate with a literal BS degree that’s not worth the money it’s promoted on. Over the next decade all the bankers continue to get rich, Obama federalizes student loans so they had an asset on the balance sheet to pay for Obamacare.
