Reading through articles about RBG during oral arguments and apparently, she’s usually asleep before arguments begin and this has been going on well before her latest illness. So, the notion that she’s present, alert and asking questions seems a stretch. There is, however, a long history of the Justices covering for each other’s illnesses.
