Mueller is a bad guy, then Barr has been hanging out with a criminal
for 30 years, attending each other's childrens' events, dinner on Sunday,
AND, more importantly, the exoneration Mueller just deliverd is
done. Over. We get to start anew.
You aren't applying Occam's razor properly. Occam's razor means
the answer with the fewest assumptions, EVERYTHING ELSE
BEING EQUAL, is likely the correct answer. You are starting out
with some very big assumptions (that Trump wouldn't try to distance
himself), and then assuming everything else is equal. It's not. If Mueller
is is a bad guy, then the whole "rule of law" aspect is gone.

Exactly. These guys are allowed to lie through their teeth to everyone,
too, if they're doing it to further a criminal investigation. Trump's been
doing this since the 80s. He knows the game. The mafia in Jersey and NY has suffered tremendously as a result. It's no surprise that
he now works with all of the prosecutors that took them down: Giuliani, Mueller, Rosenstein, and probably even Barr.

He's calling out everyone necessary to distance himself from the "investigation"
and convince the public at large that he wasn't' interfering in it. He has to stick
with that until the truth of what was going on is publicly known.
He's absolutely lying when he says Mueller begged him for the
FBI job. We know that's not true because we know the agreement
… Mueller signed when he got the last extension said he could no longer
be director of the FBI after 4 September, 2014 (or thereabouts, can't recall
the actual date).
Whether or not he's lying about Schiff is another thing, but the
prosecuting team he has to be. If he's not, then none of their results
are valid. None of them. Everyone keeps leaving that simple
truth off of their "occam's razor" approach.
