Michael riconosciuto seems to be the real connection. Never heard of him until now, but involved with all sorts of shit dating back to the '80s, including the NSA program called PROMIS, which was the precursor to PRISM.
Gunderson was involved with all sorts of Southern Cali investigations going way back, including the human trafficking. Lavas is now dead apparently, though he also went by the name Raymond Tromprenard. His Facebook, twitter, and other accounts are still up.
