I don't try to redpill family and friends, it just causes arguments. I just say stuff like "well there's a lot more jobs now" or Trump's put away more child traffickers than any other President in history, you don't have a problem with that do ya?". It makes them uncomfortable but they can't argue with it. A little bit here and little bit there until they want to know more. MS and Apple are part of PRISM. Windows has at least one gov't backdoor as does Intel's CPU's that have the Management Engine extensions. I'm sure MacOS is comp'ed too. Linux is more secure but get a distro like MXLinux that doesn't use systemd. If you have to use Windows10, do some research on how to disable unwanted services, etc. Search for bring-your-own-dilemma.pdf and O&OShutup (or similar programs) to disable telemetry and auto updates and other privacy settings. Nvidia graphics drivers have telemetry too now so search for that as well (if you have an Nvidia card). There are ways and at least one program to disable that too. Opsec says that if you are online, you're being watched by someone somewhere no matter what hardware or software you're using, so behave accordingly. I'm prepared to bug out if I need to. I have multiple places to go with food,water, and other essentials. Don't think I'll need to, but it's better to be prepared for something that doesn't happen than the other way around.
