Joseph Whitwell was stripped of his licence after it emerged he had sex with a married patient at the exclusive Meadows clinic in Phoenix, Arizona

He treated the patient for three months at the Meadows until March 2018

They exchanged thousands of messages and had sex upon her discharge

Whitwell first denied the sexual relationship but later signed a consent decree and agreed to surrender his license and terminate his practice
