Matthew Chapter 13 ~ The Seven Parables & The Mysteries of The Kingdom of Heaven
The Sower ~ In the first parable, Jesus tells us that the age between His First and Second Coming would be characterized by sowing of the Gospel; the ultimate message of reality and truth. God declares to human hearts what the lost secret of our humanity is the cause of all misery, aching, longing, and loneliness in our lives. The Good News is that God has found a way, despite our rejection; to bring us that message once again: See, Understand and Receive. Some would receive it – and those who would, begin to grow, develop and blossom into the kind of men and women [Fruitful People] that God had in mind in the beginning [before the Fall].
The Wheat and The Tares ~ Then in the second parable Jesus told us that there would be a Simultaneous, and second sowing and scattering throughout the whole earth of the ‘Fruitful People’, the Saints who had responded to the Gospel. True believers would be scattered throughout all of humanity – in every tribe, nation and class of society around the world.
~In this same parable Jesus said that the Devil would also be sowing his people everywhere, penetrating every class of society, and especially invading the church so that the good and the evil would grow up together there unto the harvest, with the tares left in place lest the good wheat be harmed.
~History has proven this to be exactly as our Lord has said, the ‘tares’ have not yet been removed. The corruption, the sins, and particularly the sexual abuse within the Church being exposed today is the [unseen] work of His angels ‘binding the tares’ for Judgment.
The Mustard Seed ~ The Lord planted a tiny, humble mustard seed in His garden. The mustard seed is extremely bitter; just as the Gospel message is in this unbelieving World. The humble Truth of the Lord’s message has grown abnormally into a wealthy, proud pseudo-Christian church with many, supporting political allies including the [the birds] very agents from the headquarters of evil (Ephesians 6:12) nesting in the branches of His Great Church
The Parable of the Yeast ~ From the life of Abraham (Genesis 18:6,7) the preparation of bread from ‘three measures of meal’ became a picture of the people of God sharing the ‘meal offering’ in fellowship with God, with the unleavened bread of sincerity, honesty, and truth. Those who are charged with the responsibility of developing the fellowship of God's people nevertheless have hidden ‘leaven’ in the meal; allowing hypocrisy, formalism, ritualism, rationalism, materialism, legalism, immorality – to come into the LORD’s Church.
The Buried Treasure ~ The LORD finds a buried treasure in the field [of humanity] and then covers it back up. The LORD gave everything, The Cross, to purchase the field of humanity. The treasure is Israel, which will soon have a most important part to play for Peace in this world.
The Pearl of Great Value is the Church. The LORD gave everything, The Cross, to purchase the Church. The irritant of the Gospel message in this world, has grown the Church into the Pearl of Great Value.
The Kingdom of Heaven like a Net cast into the sea of humanity. When full, the net is pulled in and the Good and Evil are judged at the end of this age.
