He's trying to publicly shame the Dems and their voters, and make them publicly acknowledge that their open borders shit really doesn't work and nobody wants these people. It's a negotiating tactic and a powerful one.
Dems will have to acknowledge they don't want the crime or expense. They cannot afford foreign language teachers for the schools and language interpreters for the courts, larger class sizes or building new elementary schools, housing and food and medical care, hiring more police, etc. etc.
This will cause moderate Dems to turn rightward and will help throw a bunch of elected dems out of office next election.
Some sanctuary cities will reverse their policies.
It's optics but it will work.

This thing has been a long time in preparation & planning. The insiders of the Plan had to bide their time and go under the radar until the time was right.

Usually, we conjecture that some planes are up, but their radar traces suppressed from crowd-sourced ADSB for reasons of operational security. I haven't heard any more go over our area tonight after the one, but that doesn't mean much.
