The whole point is that they didn't think she'd lose. They got sloppy and,
on top of that, failed to realize the impact their own laws and methods
would have on their goals. I'm sure they did have a lot of "fail-safes"
in place, they just aren't that effective when the guy you're using them
against controls everything. Everything they had is being used against
them.

And I forgot to add - yes, the military is the easist part. They're almost all
patriots. This is a 100% volunteer military right now, which leads to a force
that consists of people that really will die for the country and what it stands for.
The fact that he said that in a tweet means he already knows it's true.
The same goes for calling this whole mess treason. He has the proof,
he just has to time it so it all sticks.
