I see a lot of pro-life support on these boards, but seldom is the topic of male genital mutilation (MGM), esp. of non-consenting infants brought up. There's a loss of 10,000-20,000 nerve endings, ~50% of the penis's surface area, and the guy in the article "estimated he had been stripped of 75% of the sensitivity of his penis." I speculate he isn't alone and the issue of MGM leads to perhaps unfathomable amounts of relationship issues, unnecessary aggression, feelings of depression etc. 'Murica is #1 on so many things, but it's bad and we should feel bad about our 80% MGM rates compared to the world's 33% MGM rates (most of which are because of Jewish and Islamic religious practices) and the overall amount ignorance of this topic. Alex Hardy seemed like a pretty cool dude, and it's a shame he's no longer with us.
