Easy, YouTube lies on the numbers of views. It's documented many many times. And if you are on "this beat" of research you would know by direct experience what they do.
They Suppress certain vids, in many ways; and promote others; such as FE
They even delete whole channels with millions of views.
They can block vids or channels from vast swaths of IP addresses.
"It's not organic"
so don't blame "the people"
