Never went to a single resort, fuck those trashy places. Hitchhiked from Nuevo Laredo to Monterrey, then to Santiago, to Linares, to San Luis Potosi, to Mexico City, to Oaxaca, to Playa del Carmen. Have to say Mexico City was my favorite. Flew back there a couple more times. Airbnbs are cheap af there and the street food is fucking amazing. Also the market in Tepito is awesome. 10/10 would recommend
