ANONS,
The isolation many of us are experiencing will be worth it. Be strong. Be kind. If we made it this far, we can go all the way. When life gets us down, we have one another. This board and this fight is something I never imagined possible in my lifetime. I wish we could all hang out in person as it would be nice to have friends as courageous and selfless as you all. Anything worthwhile is not easy. The talent on this board is mind-blowing. I take my hat off to you all and thank you all for the difference you make in the world. I assert, ten years from now (hopefully less, kek) you will stand proud and wouldn't change a thing. It will all be worth it. I have always done my best to impact the world around me and often refer to the following quote for strength.
George Bernard Shaw, "The True Joy In Life"
This is the true joy in life, being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one. Being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it what I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.
