And part of the psyop IS to dissuade people from "violent" action. That is what THEY want. It gives them an excuse to counter with force.
But the psyop is also designed to lead people towards thinking and research and investigation and promulgation of ideas, and it is EFFECTIVE at that.
It is certainly reasonable to ask whether Q is really some DS op to keep people passive, but once the question is asked, even a little thought reveals that the answer must be NO. Supposing that were the case, it is an operation that would backfire HORRIBLY if the truth came out, which it would.
