US is saying drone was in international waters, but it appears to me after a minor dig that Iran considers all of the Strait of Hormuz it's territorial waters.
Ships are allowed to navigate it because of a treaty which allows vessels to go from one port out to sea. This is called the Right of Transit Passage.
POTUS said that the drone crashed into the middle of the Strait, but does Iran consider that International Waters?
Does the same right of passage apply to the airspace?
Any planefags have info on this?
