The C_A ran a disinfo campaign exposing themselves in the Church hearings so the true extent of MK U research programs could be concealed. The existence of the massive program was exposed first in the 1975 Church hearings, and then again in the Senate hearings later that same year.

The hearing were a complete sham, the exposure of the CIA "crown jewels" a total fiction, and the vast iceberg of Sid Gottlieb's experiments in mind control demonology and social control has yet to be exposed, though we appear headed that way.
