Add'l sauce for the 17 CIA / Iran story:

Tehran, Iran (CNN)

Iran has detained 17 Iranian citizens accused of acting as spies for the United States Central Intelligence Agency, according to the country's Ministry of Intelligence.

An Intelligence Ministry document sent to CNN claims Iran had broken up a CIA spying ring and captured 17 suspects, all of whom confessed to acting as spies for the CIA.

"Defendants serving their sentences in prison mentioning tempting promises of CIA officers including emigration to USA, a proper job in America, and money," the Intelligence Ministry document said. It added that the spy mission was to collect classified information "from substantial centers as well as intelligence/technical operations."

The Ministry said some of the 17 will be executed.

Under the heading "Destiny of Spies" the Intelligence Ministry said, "individuals who consciously and deliberately betrayed the country and refused to compensate for the losses have been handed over to the judiciary system. Others, who honestly cooperated with the security system and their remorsefulness have been proved, have been managed with intelligence direction against Americans."

CNN has approached the CIA for comment.

Hmmm

Already a guy on twatter, replying to CNN's story about "17 CIA etc" with this:

"Prove it."

This story about the 17 CIA in Iran is smelling more fake by the minute.

My, how conveniently-timed it is.

What a coincidence.

Fake news, or no?

Early bird day shift, take this ball and run with it.

Not the first twisted "motivation" Epstein could have for a lifetime of attempts to deflower blonde, blue-eyed young girls. Perverse revenge.

It's wanting what nature and fate usually decrees they'll never have any other way.

Same for wealthy, hideous, hairy-backed goblins from the Middle East.

Another genealogyfag here. 30 years' worth of it.

Displaying a full tree online is an ongoing source of frustration.

Ancestry won't do it, and neither will FamilySearch.

There's just no practical way to do it.

Heeey, if you and your husband/wife are from the same state, if you dig long enough, you'll probably find out you're related.

There just weren't that many people around to date before the Revolution.

We had a good chuckle about it at a genealogy workshop last year.

Desertanon, keep praying to keep that evil away from you.

Just keep talking to God. You can be completely honest with Him. Don't worry about what your prayers sound like. This is between you and God. Turn that evil and your worries over to Him. Ask Him to protect you. Tell him you love Him.

Will pray for your protection, fren.

And GHWB took the reins from Prescott Bush.

Get a load of this.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2004/sep/25/usa.secondworldwar

"George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.

The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.

His business dealings, which continued until his company's assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave labourers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy.

The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator's action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

The debate over Prescott Bush's behaviour has been bubbling under the surface for some time. There has been a steady internet chatter about the "Bush/Nazi" connection, much of it inaccurate and unfair. But the new documents, many of which were only declassified last year, show that even after America had entered the war and when there was already significant information about the Nazis' plans and policies, he worked for and profited from companies closely involved with the very German businesses that financed Hitler's rise to power. It has also been suggested that the money he made from these dealings helped to establish the Bush family fortune and set up its political dynasty."
