Michelle Malkin: Fight for the freedom to question vaccines

Very rarely do Hollywood celebrities stick their necks out on behalf of the concerns of ordinary parents whose voices have been suppressed by the liberal media, Silicon Valley and the political establishment of both parties. But this week, the actor and comedian used his formidable Twitter platform to stand against the increasing censorship of vaccine skeptics by Big Pharma and Big Tech. This is what speaking truth to power looks like.

With the Overton window on acceptable discourse about government-coerced immunization rapidly shrinking, Schneider’s timing couldn’t be better.

“Free Speech is ALL speech. Even the speech that you find repugnant,” Schneider declared. “We don’t need people deciding FOR us what to think, see or hear. That’s a load of totalitarian crap.” He singled out Amazon “banning books that dare question medical orthodoxy,” as well as “Facebook, Google, (and) YouTube” for burying information inconvenient to vaccine manufacturers, their lobbyists and water-carriers in elected office…..

There's currently a battle raging over anti-vax speech. Is it free speech? Michelle Malkin says yes:

Ban on anti-vax speech = ban on free speech

Their argument:

Anti-vax speech is based on ignorance.
It is anti-public health.
Thus, it is dangerous and should be banned.

Three pronged attack:

a. ban anti-vax speech

b. promote pro-vax propaganda

c. pass laws mandating vaxxes

IF ANTI-VAX speech is banned, what's next???

First step in upholding the right of people to discuss the pros and cons of vaccination is identifying those who oppose the right to discuss it and promote mandatory vaxxing. Two examples are below.

Renee Diresta

Until recently, was the Director of Research at New Knowledge fake research organization

(known for "muh Russia" agenda & scandal resulting from their online manipulation of voters in the Alabama Senate election in 2017)

But she has no scientific degree. Ed = bpolitical science and computer technology (4-yr degrees?)

CFR member.

Co-founded Vaccinate California, which promotes mandatory vaccinations for school children.

Helped pass SB276 and SB714 into law in Sept 2019, which requires health officials to approve requests for medical exemptions to school-required vaccinations

Dr. Heidi Larson

She studies what makes people vaccines skeptics (like it's a problem of ignorance or mental imbalance).

Just gave a talk at the recent Atlantic-sponsored StratCom conference on this topic.

She's an anthropologist, not an MD.

Founder (2007): Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), Univ. of Washington

Funded by Gates Foundation; grew from 7 to 300; her focus = "vaccine acceptance"

Panel theme was how to change public opinion about "disinformation"
