At the outset, two things must be established about George Papadopoulos.

Maltese spook JOSEPH MIFSUD, a.k.a. “The Professor,” left, and GEORGE PAPADOPOULOS, right, just happened to join the London Centre of International Law Practice within a few months of each other.

The first is that sometime in February 2016, just weeks before he became an “advisor” to Donald Trump, Papadopoulos was living and working in London, and he somehow (nobody knows or says how) acquired the lofty and windy title of Director–Centre for International Energy and Natural Resources Law & Security at the London Centre of International Law Practice. (Say that ten times fast.) That’s according to his own LinkedIn page.

This is stated here not just as an idle curiosity; in fact it is crucial to all that follows, because another person who had formally joined the London Centre of International Law Practice (LCILP) as “Board Advisor” not long before Papadopoulos got accepted there was a Maltese professor named Joseph Mifsud. Mifsud had first become listed as “Board Advisor” on the LCILP website around 30 November 2015—and that fact is its own curiosity, because that is around the same time that a CIA asset named Nellie Ohr began working for Glenn Simpson at Fusion GPS.

The second thing that must be established at the outset is that Papadopoulos became an “advisor” to the Trump campaign sometime in early March of 2016—within mere weeks of taking his position at LCILP. According to Papadopoulos it was on or about Friday, 11 March 2016, in his own words (some italics emphasis added):

Within mere days of Papadopoulos being accepted as an “advisor” to the Trump campaign, three other “advisors” were taken on almost simultaneously: Carter Page, a “former” FBI/CIA undercover operative who previously had lived and worked in London, and also had lived and worked for about three years in Moscow; Michael Flynn, the “former” director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) under Barack Obama; and Paul Manafort, a man who had longstanding ties to Russia, particularly to a Russian oligarch named Oleg Deripaska.
