It's explained in the first two posts in that thread. Baker announces end of shift, another confirms volunteering as next baker, and that's about it really. Recipe for bake is left in the previous dough.

Well it's then assumed that the current baker is still present. Sometimes we end up with double breads because of that unfortunately. Sometimes the baker is AFK and not ready for the next bread, it happens. It's not really perfect, but it's worked well for us, since we are lucky to have such dedicated patriots who are willing to take up the mantle. It's up to the mods and I to make sure it's not a shill who's trying derail as well, by keeping an eye on the baker and dough.
