‘European values’? Czech think tank funded by NATO govts calls for EU BLANKET BAN on Russian outlets like RT

A pro-NATO Czech think tank has another piece of unsolicited advice for Western governments. Now they should refuse to give access or interviews to Russian media, who are ”not real journalists”, according to the ”wise censor”.

At first blush, the ‘Kremlin Watch Strategy’ paper published last week by the Prague-based ‘European Values Center for Security Policy’ sounds like another self-serving attempt to cash in on the anti-Russian hysteria that has gripped many a Western capital for the past several years.

There are some two dozen mentions of “funding,” mostly in the context of urging the European Union to spend more money on “independent” NGOs – such as themselves, obviously – to battle “hostile Russian interference” the authors see under every bed. There is even a proposal for every EU government to conduct its own version of the Mueller probe – which famously found zero evidence of “collusion” between US President Donald Trump and Russia, and its evidence of Russian “meddling” amounted to unsubstantiated assertions from indictments, as its lawyers had to admit in court.

So far, so laughable, right? Except the NGO argues that all European countries should:

stop legitimising Russian disinformation tools posing as “journalistic platforms”. Communication channels effectively run by the Russian government, be it RT, Sputnik, or Russian state-run TV channels, do not represent journalism, they merely pretend to.

Since ‘Russians’ are not free media, argues ‘European Values,’ the EU countries should “ban them from press conferences and not give access that is granted only to journalists, which they are not.”

This is not the first time that EV has tried to urge a ban and boycott of “Russian” outlets. In fact, it first emerged from obscurity in 2017, when it compiled an (error-riddled) blacklist of 2,327 “useful idiots” who had appeared on RT, in an effort to intimidate others.

Google Billionaire Larry Page has been Quietly Funnelling Money into Flu Vaccination Initiatives

Google cofounder and billionaire Larry Page has been quietly pursuing a campaign against the flu.

Both Page and Google cofounder Sergey Brin stepped back from Google’s parent company earlier this month, driving speculation about what he might be up to next. Page is one of the richest people in the world, with a net worth of about $65 billion.

Page, according to TechCrunch, has been associated with funding flu vaccinations, specifically, an initiative called “Shoo the Flu,” which offers free flu shots to schoolchildren in Oakland, California. The initiative is fully funded by a for-profit company that Page controls.

TechCrunch stated they obtained documents detailing Page’s involvement with anti-flu causes. Shoo the Flu’s website says that “students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade (and in some cases up to 8th grade) at participating schools can get the flu vaccine for free in school, during school hours.”

Page also has a second firm, Flu Lab, which funds research aimed at completely eradicating the flu. The World Health Organization calculates that up to 650,000 people across the world die from flu each year. The director of Shoo the Flu, Casey Wright, is also the CEO of Flu Lab, joining Page in having both firms in common. The TechCrunch article added that Shoo the Flu will soon become a part of Flu Lab, though an exact date is not known.

Both Shoo the Flu and Flu Lab are private companies, so the full extent of Page’s anti-flu spending is not clear. However, since Page’s donations to Shoo the Flu come from his Carl Victor Page Memorial Foundation, which is required to file public returns, the amount Page has donated to Shoo the Flu is clear. According to TechCrunch, that figure is $4.1 million between 2015 and 2017.

Pelosi Abuses Power, Obstructs Congress by Refusing the Send Impeachment to Senate

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is both obstructing the Senate’s constitutional role in an impeachment process as well abusing her power in doing so.

Last night the Speaker of the House of Representatives declared: “We cannot name managers until we see what the process is on the Senate side, and I would hope that that will be soon,” Pelosi said.

“So far we haven’t seen anything that looks fair to us, so hopefully it will be fairer and when we see what that is, we’ll send our managers.”

In other words, Pelosi will not do her constitutional duty in passing the articles of impeachment to the U.S. Senate unless she is convinced the process will go the way her Democrat colleagues want it to.

In doing so, she is arguably abusing her power and obstructing Congress: the two things she and her Democrat colleagues impeached President Trump over.

‘You don’t mess around with demons’: Exorcists condemn book that teaches kids to ‘summon’ evil spirits

The International Association of Exorcists (AIE) took the rare step of warning parents about ‘A Children’s Book of Demons,’ a book teaching kids as young as five how to summon demons to help with problems like bullies and chores.

The bizarre book, published earlier this year, shows children aged five to 10 how to summon various multi-limbed, razor-toothed evil spirits to solve their problems using a series of simple symbols (easy to draw for little hands!).

Dinner unappealing? Summon a demon to turn it into cookies. Don’t want to go to school? Summon a demon to make you sick. The exorcists are livid.

‘A Children’s Book of Demons’ presents summoning demons as something “ordinary and recommendable,” AIE president Father Francesco Bamonte seethed in a recent statement; “inviting children to ally themselves with them, to take advantage of them…You don’t mess around with demons.”

Whoever invites a child to summon a demon is like a person who puts a grenade in their hands to play with. Sooner or later the child will pull them in and the bomb will explode in their hands.

The book is part of a trend toward mainstreaming devil-worship as “a normal alternative to other religions,” Bamonte lamented, adding that providing such material to children muddles their “discernment between what is good and what is bad.”

Teaching kids to seek help from a demon – even one that’s been packaged as child-friendly, with a beanie hat between the usual horns – is like telling them to get help from a criminal, he said.

While the book is presented by publisher Koyama Press as a “paranormal parody” – perhaps after an abundance of scathingly negative reviews from parents slamming it as “straight up from the pits of hell garbage” and “pure evil” – it still puts children at risk of bringing demons into their home and leading them down the path to eternal damnation, the exorcists warned.

Nothing can hold back arms race if Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with US is not renewed – Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that a global arms race is inevitable if the US and Russia do not agree to extend the ten-year Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START), which is due to expire in early 2021.

Speaking at a Q&A session with reporters in Moscow on Thursday, Putin said that Russia stands ready “to simply renew the existing New START agreement,” even if it happens as fast as by the end of this year.

They can send us the [agreement] tomorrow, or we can sign and send it to Washington. Let their designated official sign it too, including the president, if they’re ready to do so.

“But so far our proposals have been left unanswered” by the US, Putin stressed.

If the New START ceases to exist, nothing in the world will hold back an arms race. I believe this is bad.

Signed by the US and Russia in 2010, the treaty limits the development and deployment of nuclear weapons and their means of delivery.

In February, the US announced plans to withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty) with Russia, which banned all land-based missiles with the range up to 5,500km (3,420 miles), and officially left six months later.

Washington abandoned the agreement after accusing Moscow of secretly violating it. Russia, which has repeatedly denied these allegations, stopped implementing the INF Treaty after the US left it.

It’s Official: Rep. Van Drew Flips Republican and Pledges ‘Undying Support’ for Donald Trump

Democrat Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey officially announced his decision to switch political parties and pledged his support for President Donald Trump on Thursday.

“I believe that this is just a better fit for me,” Van Drew told reporters on Thursday at the White House. “This is who I am.”

Drew met with President Trump in the Oval Office together with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Vice President Mike Pence to discuss his decision.

Van Drew said that as a Republican he would pledge his “undying support” for the president.

Van Drew voted against the two articles of impeachment against President Trump during the House of Representatives vote on Wednesday together with Reps. Collin Peterson (D-MN).

Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) also joined Peterson and Van Drew to vote against the second article of impeachment.

Assange CANNOT be extradited because of treaty between US-UK argues legal team

Lawyers for journalist and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange will argue that a treaty between the US and UK explicitly bans extradition for political offenses when his hearing begins in early 2020.

Assange faces 18 counts in the US including conspiracy to hack government computers and violating espionage laws with a possible penalty of decades in prison. His full extradition hearing is scheduled to begin on February 24, 2020 and his defense team have made clear their intention to fight his extradition using any and all means at their disposal.

“We say that there is in the treaty a ban on being extradited for a political offense and these offenses as framed and in substance are political offenses,” Assange's lawyer Edward Fitzgerald told London's Westminster Magistrates' Court.

Assange's defense lawyers will also submit medical evidence, public comments made by US officials and details from the Chelsea Manning case to fight the WikiLeaks founder's extradition to the US and are also expected to call up to 21 witnesses to testify. Manning is currently in prison for contempt of court after she refused to testify before a federal grand jury seeking to level additional charges against WikiLeaks and Julian Assange.

It recounts the events of March 17-18, 2011 in Daraa, a small border town with Jordan.

Media reports have finally acknowledged that the so-called “protest movement” in Syria was instigated by Washington. This was known and documented from the very inception of the Syrian crisis in March 2011.

It was not a protest movement, it was an armed insurgency integrated by US-Israeli and allied supported “jihadist” death squads?

From Day One, the Islamist “freedom fighters” were supported, trained and equipped by NATO and Turkey’s High Command. According to Israeli intelligence sources (Debka, August 14, 2011):

Also discussed in Brussels and Ankara, our sources report, is a campaign to enlist thousands of Muslim volunteers in Middle East countries and the Muslim world to fight alongside the Syrian rebels. These mercenaries were subsequently integrated into US and allied sponsored terrorist organizations including Al Nusrah and ISIS.

The Daraa “protest movement” on March 17-18 had all the appearances of a staged event involving covert support to Islamic terrorists by Mossad and/or Western intelligence.

Government sources pointed to the role of radical Salafist groups (supported by Israel).

In chorus, the Western media described the events in Daraa as a protest movement against Bashar Al Assad.

In a bitter irony, the deaths of policemen were higher than those of “demonstrators”.

In Daraa, roof top snipers were targeting both police and demonstrators.

Reading between the lines of Israeli and Lebanese news reports (which acknowledge the police deaths) a clearer picture of what happened in Daraa on March 17-18 had emerged. The Israel National News Report (which can not be accused of being biased in favor of Bashar al Assad) confirmed that:

Adam Schiff went on with Rachel Maddow last night to push their Trump-Ukraine conspiracy — something that was completely debunked everywhere after three weeks of testimony except on CNN, MSNBC and the fake news media.

During their conversation Schiff announced he was going after Vice President Mike Pence next and may have “acquired evidence” that the Vice President is hiding information in the House Ukrainian investigation.

Adam Schiff: Well, we have acquired a piece of evidence, classified by Jennifer Williams, something she alluded to in her open testimony. Then going back and looking through her records she found other information that was pertinent to that phone call that we asked her about and made that submission. There is nothing that is classified in the document but the vice president’s office has said they are going to classify… It is not proper to classify something because it would be embarrassing or incriminating. And that submission does shed light on the vice president’s knowledge. We think the American people should see it.

Jennifer Williams testified before Congress in November and offered nothing. She worked for Vice President Mike Pence. So now Schiff has Democrats thinking Williams holds the key to Pence’s impeachment.

A Florida Man was arrested and charged with attempted premeditated murder for trying to ‘barbecue’ child molesters at a motel, according to police.

Jorge Porto-Sierra, 50-years-old at the time of the arrest, told cops he wanted to “barbecue all the child molesters and kill them.”

Two of his alleged victims were convicted child molesters, reports the New York Post.

According to witness reports, Porto-Sierra burst into a room at the Friendly Village Inn in Kissimmee, shouting, “I’m going to kill you, child molester.”

The victim had been standing outside the motel room door when Porto-Sierra emerged from his vehicle, launching his attack.

Porto-Sierra had poured gasoline outside the motel before smashing the motel window in order to pour more gasoline into the room.

After the first victim escaped through a back door.

Then, Porto-Sierra redirected his assault to two individuals in a car in the motel parking lot, where he rammed his car into theirs.

He then poured gasoline into an open window of the car, according to a police report via All That Is Interesting.

Witnesses said he then lit a cigarette with menacing intent, threatening to light the gasoline.

However, Porto-Sierra’s plan was thwarted when police arrived.

He said that the police “got here too soon” before he could light the gasoline.

During his arrest, he said: “They raped kids, they are child molesters that all live here and deserve to die.”
