About 300 activists held a mock funeral for the US billionaire philanthropist George Soros in the Georgian capital Tbilisi on Wednesday.
Supporters of some of the country's opposition parties took to the streets wearing pointed black hoods and carrying a coffin containing an effigy of Soros covered in copies of 100 US dollar bills with Soros' face printed on them.
Protesters read out mock obituaries pretending to be the Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili, his predecessor Eduard Shevardnadze andothers. The crowd then dumped the coffin in a dustbin.

George Soros is an anarchist
Thomas Peterffy, Interactive Brokers CEO, discusses his views on fellow Hungarian, George Soros.
Herland Report TV host, Hanne Nabintu Herland speaks with Judicial Watch' WIlliam Marshall about George Soros on the drug epidemic and financial elites' deliberate use of NGOs to control politics.
William Marshall says: "We became particularly interested in Soros activities after foreign government officials approached us with concerns and those of his organizations in their countries and his meddling. We looked at the collaboration between our own State Department and George Soros.
I think we've got investigations going on in probably seven or eight countries and that will be expanding at 2019 in terms of the collusion, which is a favourite word these days in America, but the collusion between the State Department and George Soros is non-governmental organizations."
"The questions Americans should ask themselves is why is our State Department using George Soros' operatives to direct US taxpayer dollars to non-profit organizations that are anti-American, that are espousing radical leftist policies? It makes no sense."
