Hunter Biden Accused Of $156M Ukraine Money Laundering Scheme In Court Filing

 

A new filing in an Arkansas lawsuit against Hunter Biden claims that the former Vice President's son "is the subject of more than one (1) criminal investigation involving fraud, money laundering and a counterfeiting scheme."

 

Filed by private investigator Dominic Casey of D&A Investigations on behalf of Lunden Alexis Roberts - with whom Hunter fathered a child, Monday's "Notice of Fraud and Counterfeiting and Production of Evidence" alleges that Hunter Biden and associates Devon Archer and John Kerry stepson Christopher Heinz engaged in a money laundering scheme which accumulated over $156 million between March 2014 and December 2015.

 

According to the document, Biden, Archer and Heinz became directors of consulting firm Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC in order to "conceal their family members ownership," establishing financial accounts at Morgan Stanley and China Bank, the latter of which was used in a money laundering scheme.

 

Biden and associates are accused of using the counterfeiting scheme "to conceal the Morgan Stanley et al Average Account Value.

 

The filing also says that "Family members of DEFENDANT Robert Hunter Biden, Devon Archer and Christopher Heinz are business partners of Serhiy Leshchenko and Mykola Zlochevesky in the Ukraine, and are currently under investigation for their part in the counterfeiting scheme."

 

Of note, Leshchenko is a former Ukrainian parliamentarian who made headlines in August 2016 for helping to leak the so-called "black ledger" that resulted in the firing of then-Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort - the supposedly 'debunked' Ukraine meddling detailed in a November, 2017 Politico article.

 

Notably, following an outreach to the Ukrainian embassy by Democratic operative Alexandra Chalupa, Artem Sytnyk, Ukraine's Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and Leshchenko released the "black ledger" containing off-book payments to Manafort. In December of 2018, a Ukrainian court ruled that Sytnyk and Leshchenko "acted illegally" by releasing Manafort's name - a conviction which was later overturned on a technicality.

These photos were taken with one of the world's most powerful cameras and this particular shot, which was the only way to get the molech face was taken from a mountain that was about a kilometer away. I have others that were taken right on the boundary but for what we are dealing with here, this was the only way to get what this really is to show. it's a molech "convention center" with a weaving spider's roof. The actual size of this is about 20,000 square feet. In front of this is a 15 acre field that is perfectly open and showing Molech perfectly (once you get past the fence). Embedded into the ground are numerous pipes that can shoot flames. The entire location is very luxurious with a full time groundskeeper and security who live in the home in the foreground that is about 200 yards away from the Molech. You can't tell any of this in this particular image because of the image depth compression that happens with a mega powerful lens. Independent media journalists to be charged as FELONS for reporting on the growing Second Amendment sanctuary movement in Virginia?

 

In case you missed it, there is a growing gun law nullification movement in Virginia spurred on by threats from newly empowered Democrats to pass a bevy of new laws aimed at restricting residents’ Second Amendment rights.

 

Among the laws being proposed: Waiting periods, bans on high-capacity magazines, bans on “assault weapons,” and even confiscation of said weapons.

 

The threats have led 90 percent of Virginia counties and jurisdictions to adopt “Second Amendment sanctuaries” that are based on Democrat “sanctuary cities” which shield illegal aliens from deportation by banning local police from assisting federal immigration authorities.

 

Well, in the media business, when nine out of 10 jurisdictions in a single state pledge to nullify any new gun laws they feel are direct violations of the Second Amendment, we call that a story.

 

That’s news. That’s a big deal — or, at least, it is to independent media. The Leftist mainstream types are largely ignoring this developing civil war ignition point.

 

One outlet that has been covering the story aggressively is a publication that caters to police officers: Law Enforcement Today, or LET.

 

That coverage, however, has earned editors and reporters a very unconventional, anonymous threat of holding them liable for a “felony.”

 

“Your reporting about the growing numbers in the militia create a clear and present threat to America. As part of Congress, I’m giving you fair warning that this is the equivalent of shouting ‘fire’ in a movie theater. If your reporting incites violence, or can even be tied to it, we will make sure to charge your editors with felonies.”

 

Now, again, LET noted that the threat was made anonymously, which tends to make us believe that it’s BS. If, in fact, this publication was ‘inciting violence,’ it makes more sense that a federal law enforcement agency — the FBI, for instance — would be in contact with the publishers.

 

That said, how could the FBI or local and state law enforcement agencies even approach a legitimate news organization for reporting the truth? It’s a fact that membership is militias are expanding in membership; that’s not ‘inciting violence,’ that’s reporting a truth.

 

So why cover the story at all? LET explains it did so because it’s now part of a growing national conversation about rising resistance to federal authority.

 

Consider:

 

— Scores of states have ignored federal law prohibiting the recreational use of marijuana. Not only have these states ignored the federal prohibition statutes, but voters have actually approved measures that directly conflict with them.

State Dept Official Says US Will Increase Efforts to Counter Russia, China in Middle East in 2020

 

The United States will boost its efforts to counter both, Russia and China in the Middle East next year, US Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker told reporters on Monday.

 

"While we've had successes over the past year as a result of the administration policies, we of course recognise that challenges remain. These include Iran's persistent malign influence in the region and globally", Schenker said. "I know that in 2020, we'll also be seeing an increase in US efforts to counter Russian meddling and Chinese extortion in the region".

 

In October, US Special Representative Brian Hook said in congressional testimony that the United States is hopeful China and Russia will support rather than veto extending the arms embargo on Iran at the UN Security Council.

 

Hook also said that he and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have discussed with Russia and China the prospects of promoting a more peaceful and stable Middle East, including the threats like the drone attack on Saudi oil facilities.

 

Tensions increased between the two states after two major state-owned Saudi Aramco's oil fields were attacked by autonomous weaponised drones on 14 September, cutting down almost in half the Kingdom's oil production. While the Yemeni Houthi rebels have taken the responsibility for the attack, Washington has blamed Tehran. Iran has denied any involvement in the attack.

S&P Scores Longest Streak Of Record Highs Since 1998

 

The S&P 500 has made 8 record intraday highs in a row - that is the longest streak since March 1998 (when the S&P managed 14 days of record intraday highs in a row)Friday saw a massive inflow of funds into SPY - the largest S&P 500 ETF - the biggest inflow since Dec 2014. US markets were higher today early on, led by Dow Industrials (which lifted on Boeing's gains), but faded broadly into the close. Boeing's CEO is fired and the stocks jumps 3%, adding 60-plus points to The Dow.

It was up this much in pre-market…just after the trading halt lifted prior to cash open.

Overall volume was around 30% below average.

That has been poor all year so nothing newsworthy there.

Tesla stocks topped $420… but bonds ain't buying it. After the expiration chaos at the open on Friday, VIX has gone higher along with stocks. Treasury yields were uniformly 1-2bps higher. With a weak 2Y auction bid-to-cover, and 30Y pushed gently up to last week's yield resistance.

Bond speculators added to their shorts last week, pushing back near record shorts; and at the same time, eurodollar futures specs slashed their speculative positions by the largest amount in history… (reducing rate-cutting bets by the most on record).

Jamal Khashoggi: Saudis sentence five to death for journalist's murder

 

A court in Saudi Arabia has sentenced five people to death and jailed three others over the murder of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi last year.

 

Khashoggi, a prominent critic of the Saudi government, was killed inside the kingdom's consulate in the Turkish city of Istanbul by a team of Saudi agents.

 

The Saudi authorities said it was the result of a "rogue operation" and put 11 unnamed individuals on trial.

 

A UN expert said the trial represented "the antithesis of justice".

 

"Bottom line: the hit-men are guilty, sentenced to death. The masterminds not only walk free. They have barely been touched by the investigation and the trial," Special Rapporteur Agnes Callamard wrote on Twitter.

 

A report released by Ms Callamard concluded in June that Khashoggi's death was an "extrajudicial execution" for which the Saudi state was responsible, and that there was credible evidence warranting further investigation that high-level officials, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, were individually liable.

 

The prince denied any involvement, but in October he said he took "full responsibility as a leader in Saudi Arabia, especially since it was committed by individuals working for the Saudi government".

 

A senior aide, Saud al-Qahtani, was sacked and investigated over the killing but not charged "due to insufficient evidence", the public prosecution said. Former Deputy Intelligence Chief Ahmad Asiri was put on trial but acquitted on the same grounds.

 

The Turkish foreign ministry said the decision of the Saudi court "falls short of the expectations of Turkey and the international community for the clarification of all aspects of this murder and the serving of justice".

 

Khashoggi's fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, called the Saudi announcement "not acceptable".

 

The publisher of the Washington Post, for whom Khashoggi wrote columns, said: "The complete lack of transparency and the Saudi government's refusal to co-operate with independent investigators suggests that this was merely a sham trial."

 

But Khashoggi's son Salah, who lives in Saudi Arabia, tweeted: "We affirm our confidence in the Saudi judiciary at all levels, that it has been fair to us and that justice has been achieved."

To my knowledge we don't have clarity on Khashoggi yet. Rumors have gone around about him being connected to the Saudi massacre in Vegas.His death then would have actually being payback for that. Another possibility is that he was part of the op and other princes within the kingdom(dopey) sought to silence him before he testified about Vegas.
